Keyword Research Services - Value For Money Or A Waste Of Space?

If you aren’t a guru then you may (like me) find keyword research difficult. I can find lots of them. I have a problem finding good ones.

I always believed that Google’s keyword tool gave highly accurate results. Why wouldn’t I? Big company like that shouldn’t be giving false figures. Well, it turns out the figures aren’t always right.

The data returned isn’t accurate. It would have been correct at some point though. I discovered the answer almost by pure chance.

I homed in on a key phrase with roughly 5000 competing websites. I was pretty sure I could get a good result with that keyword. So I set out putting articles out. Lots of articles.

Not long after I saw that there were now almost nine thousand competing sites. My heart sank, I thought my task was gonna be twice as hard now. It turned out that my articles were showing on these sites and ranking for the keyword.

If I had saw 9000 competing sites I would have passed this keyword by. A lot of these sites were ranking with my article so I had a lot of competition but most of it was my own articles. A good result all round in my opinion.

Anyway, I decided to give a keyword research service a try as I couldn’t count on getting lucky every time. Hopefully I could get some golden keywords delivered to my inbox every day. Balancing cost against time taken (by me) seemed to prove it could be a valuable asset.

Travis Sago was offering a keyword research service which I decided to try. Travis being numero uno in the bum marketing world. Bum marketing only costs my time so it’s my kind of marketing.

One or two good quality keywords delivered each day could save me hours of time. An hour or two of my time is highly valuable to me when all I have is time. If I put the time saved up against the daily cost it shows clearly there’s value to be had.

Outsourcing, outsourcing, outsourcing. Seems to be all you hear from the gurus of internet marketing. I see this as nothing more than that. I’m giving my keyword research to someone else to do. That’s outsourcing.

You can find out just how the trial went over at my site. I said earlier about how I got loads of articles published for my chosen keyword. I’ll also tell you how I did that at my site.
