No Cost Customer Service - Project Management Tool

TiddlyWiki is a wiki-modeled single-page application that runs inside your web browser.It was originally designed as a personal notebook. It is a standalone html file… Open it in your browser and save it to your disk. That’s all there is to installation.   When you download it to your computer, TiddlyWiki can save the entered information by overwriting itself on the disk, at your request.  TiddlyWiki calls new entries tiddlers and are stored in the local copy of the TiddlyWiki file and are saved for future reference. The same methods are used when modifying or deleting existing tiddlers. Because it requires no installation and runs under most browsers it can easily be utilized as a personal wiki.

Having a simple web page act like a powerful application is a game changing concept.Many versions exist that provide feature filled benefits.TeamTasks is one of the more powerful varients.TeamTasks is an extension of Tiddlywiki into a full project / task tracking system.  You can add multiple users, projects, and tasks and track it all in a single web application file (TiddlyWiki). 

We use TeamTasks ourselves as a tool to better communicate with our customers.It all began with using email to transfer the single file back and forth with customers as we completed tasks and they added them.But we had a better way to do it.

We have a service business that resells OPENRSM CloudBackup for our customers online backup needs.  And since CloudBackup has a network drive feature we simply created a shared network drive for each customer in CloudBackup for the customers TeamTasks TiddlyWiki file and added a bookmark in our customers browsers for it.  We also mount the same remote drive from our offices and now our customer requests and the documentation of our actions on these projects are instentaneously available.No complicated installation, no expensive web servers, and no money (TeamTask is Open Source).A couple times each day we log onto each customers shared network drive and update the TeamTasks TiddlyWiki.
